OBITUARY Pilot Mountain

WESTFIELD

Ms. Rachel (Peg) Jessup, age 87, of Westfield, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Universal Healthcare of King. She was born August 07, 1922 in Surry County to the late Robert L. & Drucilla Cook Jessup. Ms. Jessup was a farmer, avid gardener and a member of Westfield Friends Meeting Church. She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Frances W. Jessup; grandchildren: Jeffrey & Jody Jessup; sisters & brother-in-law: Lois Tilley; Pinnacle, NC, Onell & husband Bill Baker; Winston-Salem, NC & Gail Durham; Pilot Mountain, NC; brother & sister-in-law: Wayne & wife Frances Jessup; Pilot Mountain, NC; sister-in-law: Mary G. Jessup; King, NC and a very special niece: Sharon Martin. In addition to her parents, Ms. Jessup was preceded in death by her son, Billy Lee Jessup; sister, Ruth Jessup and brother, Boyd Jessup. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Chapel of Pilot Mountain, conducted by Brother Don Collins & Rev. James Parker with interment to follow at Westfield Friends Meeting Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Westfield Friends Meeting Church, c/o Eula Mae Vaughn, 10497 NC 89 W., Westfield, NC 27053.
